1.0 Issue
When connected to GV4 Series control panels with firmware version 1.xx or GV3 control panels with
firmware version v8.10 and higher, D9210C Access Control Modules using a shunt point do not
follow the programmed shunt time.
When the user presents a valid credential to the reader, the door unlocks, but the door point is not
shunted for the programmed amount of time. This might result in an alarm.
2.0 Resolution
To resolve this issue, do one of the following:
• For the control panel to use the programmed Shunt timer, enter CMD 46, and then unlock and
lock the door.
• Upgrade to a D9412GV4 v2.xx or D9712GV4 v2.xx control panel. Important: Before upgrading,
refer to the sections What to expect and How to convert GV4 v1.xx to GV4 v2.1.0 in the Control
Panels (D9412GV4/D741GV4 v2.00) Release Notes (P/N: F01U265461) for important information.
Before upgrading a GV3 control panel, also refer to the Control Panels
(D9412GV4/D7412GV4/D7212GV4 v1.00) Release Notes.
